Esteemed forensic expert Dr. Aisha Wasif organized two practical sessions for students of defense and strategic studies at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
During the initial session, the class delved into conventional crime scenes, learning investigation approaches for robbery, murder, burglary, and arson cases. The subsequent sessions focused on handling radioactive crime scenes, with the instructor supplying necessary equipment and guidance. A forensic expert was on hand to assist, covering photography, sketching, evidence packaging, fingerprint and DNA collection, and report writing.
These practicals provided invaluable hands-on experience in forensic science, broadening our understanding. We extend our gratitude to Dr. Aisha Wasif for arranging these sessions and enriching our knowledge in nuclear forensics.
